Von Wolf, has been wearing a Flyaway® helmet
to skate pools since '79.
When the Cove in Santa Monica was built
he tried to buy a new one, but couldn't.
Realizing that skateboarding needed the Kanoa® Flyaway® back in the mix, he set about rediscovering the techniques needed to make the best skateboard helmet ever!
Working on his own, and own his own dime, Von Wolf resurrected the Kanoa® Flyaway® helmet.
Not a cheap plastic watered down piece of shit.
These are the real deal, in all their 70's glory and more.
Von Wolf makes real Flyaway®s; hand laid fiberglass,
D-rings, 6 holes in front, great fit and comfy foam that holds up to years of hard use.
Since 2006 he has been steadily producing the Flyaway® helmet by hand, himself, for the grateful skaters of Planet Earth!
